My commitment to championing health and wellness began as a young child.
My father was way ahead of his time and had a passion for health. He owned a vitamin shop and health food store in the early 1980’s and knowledgeable of things like GMO’s, proper nutrition, “you are what you eat,” and so much more. I like to call him “The Original Dr. Hyman” – he just didn’t know what integrative or functional medicine was. He did, however, practice alternative healthcare. As a child, things like sugar and dairy were not permitted and I recall many times having “alternative” treats and meals like sugar free suckers, REAL fruit leather, carob instead of milk chocolate, molasses milk instead of chocolate milk, rice pizza, goats milk and lots of fresh juice and smoothies. My father is now a Health Minister and continues to promote a healthy lifestyle to everyone he meets.

In 2015, my two boys lost their father to a sudden death. It was over the course of that year that my perspective began to change. Medical sales and working long hours and overnights away from the family had gotten to be too much, my diet and exercise had suffered and I wasn’t who I wanted to be. I decided a change in career was in order and wanted to go back to my passion of helping people with their health, but FIRST, I had to take care of myself and my children. I am now a Certified Integrated Health Coach and a Certified Functional Women’s Health Coach.
I’ve begun my Doctorate in Clinical Nutrition at Mar
I’m a member of NAHAC, IAHC, The Academy of Integrative Health & Medicine and APHA.
As a functional women’s health coach, I get to guide women on a path to improve their overall health by educating you on nutrition topics and exercise, stress management and problems related to home or work. I can help you find a functional doctor or help with finding the right form of care for your needs to formulate a plan to wellness. I specialize in Women’s Health but can assist anyone that is on the journey to wellness.
I’m now married to a wonderful man and together we are raising a tribe of four children (Landon, Brooks, Abby, and Reece). When I’m not spending time with family or coaching clients, I love to travel, hike and be outdoors. In my past, I played volleyball and I loved to run races (26.2/13.1 Club member).
